Photography expands the confines of my studio practice, allowing observation, chance, and patience to guide my work. The discovery of subjects and images assists my comprehension of the external world. All the while, curiosity fuels this quest for gathering often disparate photographic truths. My photography is a continuum as one picture leads to another occasionally developing into a series. I look not so much at natural scenery but rather at the nature of my subjects.

Glenn Grafelman works in Minneapolis and New York.. He studied at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, University of California Berkeley, and the School of Visual Arts, NYC. Grafelman’s art has been featured in national and international exhibitions and he has maintained studios in New York, NY, and Geneva, Switzerland.
